STAN BRADLEY NORFOLK, Va.-- University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) senior bowler Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week for her performance last weekend at the FDU New Jersey Jamboree. Frahm, averaged a 235.6 on a 1,178 pinfall to lead UMES to a second place finish in the tournament and a 9-4 record at the event, including three losses to the nation's No. 1 team, Fairleigh Dickinson University. Frahm rolled a tournament high 279 in a win over No. 4 Vanderbilt, which was one of four games over 220 she posted on the day. Her performance earned her a nod on the event's All-Star Team. UMES returns to action with Frahm at the MEAC Northern Division match-up, Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14, hosted by Howard University. |
