| Five SC State Women to Compete at NCAA XC Regional at Louisville

Five SC State Women to Compete at NCAA XC Regional William Hamilton ORANGEBURG, SC – Five members of the SC State women’s cross country team will be among those student-athletes participating in the 2010 NCAA Cross Country Southeast Regional Saturday at the E.P Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Competing for SC State, one of 39 teams in the field, will be junior Brittney Stewart of Warner Robins, Ga.; senior Patrecia Daniley of Orlando, Fla., freshman Patavia Lowery of Knoxville, Tenn., sophomore Opral Odugbela of Lithonia, Ga., and freshman Tamara Smith of Blythewood, SC. Stewart, who finished first in one event and was twice a runner-up during the season, will lead Coach Tyree Price’s team. The SC State junior and teammates Daniley and Lowery all earlier earned All-MEAC honors. |
